A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the provider that supplies those results. Centreville Residents Directory does not retain a copy of the search. If you contact us, we receive the information in your message and use it to respond.

Hosting services may create ordinary logs containing an IP address, browser information, visited pages, and times of access. We review aggregated information to maintain the service and understand usage. Cookies or similar tools may be used for basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use this information to operate the service, resolve technical problems, measure traffic, and improve content. We do not sell lists of visitors or create individual visitor profiles.
External Websites
Links may lead to Fairfax County or Virginia portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search services. The privacy practices of those destinations control information submitted there. Sponsored search results are also supplied by a third party.

Hosting and support vendors process logs on our behalf. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or as otherwise required by law.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes described here. No user accounts are offered, so the service does not hold visitor passwords or account profiles.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has sent information, and we will remove it.
